INNER LIGHT
Yellow glazed ceramic, turquoise neon and transparent acrylic
H 36 × W 43 × D 25 cm
Inner Light is part of my Introspection series, in which I explore the relationship between the human figure, light and silence.
A face in yellow glazed ceramic emerges from the darkness, eyes lowered, caught in a moment of introspection.
The neon passes through the bust and turns the warm, glossy glaze into a shifting landscape of light and shadow.
Against the stillness of the face, the intensity of the light creates a quiet tension, as if the light itself were looking inside.
