Bronze sculpture 2001

Androgyne, monumental bronze sculpture, 250 cm high, elongated abstract human figure.

H 250 cm 2001

Androgyne explores the space between masculine and feminine identities through a slender, elongated human form.

Reduced to its essential lines, the figure becomes almost an abstract presence, somewhere between an ancient ritual object and a contemporary interpretation of the human body.

Its verticality gives the sculpture a quiet, monumental presence. The simplified silhouette invites the viewer to look beyond gender distinctions, suggesting a human identity that is neither exclusively masculine nor feminine.

In this work, I wanted to create a figure in which opposites coexist, not in confrontation, but in a single, balanced form.
